Common Questions

What do the finished files look like?
All files are black and white vector files — the standard format for laser engraving. No colors, no gradients. Clean paths that your laser software can read directly. You tell us which format (SVG, PDF, PNG, JPEG) works best for your setup and we deliver it ready to load.
Can you convert a blurry or low-resolution image?
Yes — we can work from a blurry photo, a phone screenshot, a low-res logo, or a scanned image. If key details are unclear we'll reach out before delivering to make sure the result matches what you need.
Do you do police/fire department patches and badges?
This is our specialty. We're the official engraving provider for NJ FOP Lodge 46 and have vectorized hundreds of department patches across NJ, NY, PA, and beyond. Send us any department badge or seal and we'll have it ready for engraving.
What if I'm not happy with the result?
Every order includes one free revision (two for Complex orders). Just reply to your delivery email with specific feedback and we'll revise. If after revisions it still isn't right, we'll make it right — we want you to be able to run the file.
How do I pay?
Once you submit your file we'll review it and send you an invoice. Payment is due before work begins — no surprises.
Can I get a volume discount?
Yes — if you have multiple files just mention it in the notes when you submit your file and we'll work out a bulk rate.
